Established in 2002, Zuari Maroc Phosphates Private Limited (ZMPPL) is a 50:50 joint venture between Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited (ZACL), part of the Saroj Poddar Group, and Maroc Phosphore S.A., a wholly owned subsidiary of OCP Group, Morocco. The joint venture was created to acquire and serve as the promoter of Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL), one of India's leading phosphatic fertilizer companies, while also engaging in the trading of fertilizers and industrial chemicals. By combining ZACL's deep understanding of the Indian agricultural sector with OCP Group's global leadership in phosphate resources, the partnership strengthens access to critical raw materials, supports domestic fertilizer production, and enhances supply chain resilience. It represents a long-standing example of Indo-Moroccan industrial collaboration, bringing together global resource security with local market expertise to support India's agricultural growth and food security.

Established to bring world-class freight wagon technology and advanced engineering solutions to India, the joint venture combines Texmaco's manufacturing strength with Nymwag's global expertise. Its modern manufacturing facility in Kolkata serves both domestic and export markets with high-quality freight wagons.

Bringing together global expertise in railcar manufacturing, leasing and lifecycle management, the partnership delivers an integrated railcar leasing ecosystem for India. The joint venture offers end-to-end solutions spanning design, manufacturing, leasing, maintenance, engineering and financing.

Combining Wabtec's global rail technology with Texmaco's manufacturing expertise, the joint venture delivers advanced freight wagon systems, including brake systems, bogies, end-of-car systems and friction products. Together, the partnership supports safer, more efficient and globally competitive freight rail operations in India.

Combining expertise in energy infrastructure and logistics, the joint venture owns and operates a terminaling facility in Goa. By enabling the efficient storage and movement of petroleum products and ethanol, it plays a vital role in strengthening India's downstream energy supply chain.

The joint venture combines Zuari's understanding of the Indian market with Envien's expertise in bioethanol technologies to establish world-class grain-based ethanol production in India. Supporting cleaner fuels, farmer prosperity and energy security, the partnership advances the country's transition towards sustainable energy.
