Overview
Indrajit Mookerjee brings extensive leadership experience across engineering, industrial manufacturing, and process industries in India and internationally. His career spans senior leadership roles across the industrial gases sector, shaping a global perspective on operations, growth, and execution.
Prior to joining Saroj Poddar Group, he served as Chief Executive Officer of BOC India and was a founding leader of Praxair India (now Linde India). He also held regional leadership responsibilities across the Asia Pacific region, contributing to the expansion and development of industrial businesses across multiple markets.
At Saroj Poddar Group, he has been closely involved in the direction and growth of key businesses, particularly in engineering and rail, contributing to their expansion across India's infrastructure landscape. His work has focused on strengthening execution, operational discipline, and delivery across large-scale projects.
An engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur and a Master's degree holder from the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, he has also completed the Advanced Management Programme at Columbia University. His blend of technical expertise, global leadership experience, and operational insight continues to support group businesses in pursuing sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
