N. Suresh Krishnan

N. Suresh Krishnan is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL), with over 35 years of corporate experience spanning the fertiliser, energy, sugar, cement, and industrial sectors. He has spent more than two decades in leadership roles within India's fertiliser industry, with experience encompassing green field project development, manufacturing, managing joint ventures and strategic growth.

Mr. Krishnan is the immediate past Chairman of the Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) and has also served as a Board Member of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA), reflecting his extensive engagement with the Indian and global fertiliser industry.

As part of the Saroj Poddar Group, he has held senior leadership positions as Managing Director and CEO of Zuari Agro Chemicals Limited, Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilisers Limited, and Zuari Industries Limited. Across these roles, he has been closely associated with manufacturing operations, business transformation, project development, and the creation of long-term value across diverse businesses.

At Paradeep Phosphates, Mr. Krishnan is focused on strengthening the company's position in India's crop nutrition sector through operational excellence, product and portfolio diversification, market expansion, and sustainable growth. His approach combines a strong understanding of manufacturing and business operations with a long-term perspective on India's evolving agricultural and crop nutrition needs.
An alumnus of BITS, Pilani, Mr. Krishnan is a strong proponent of resource-efficient and balanced agriculture. He advocates the responsible and efficient use of agricultural inputs to enhance farm productivity, support sustainable agricultural practices, and contribute to the long-term interests of India's farming community.
